Goodbye Michael ! You were a thriller!

June 25 , 2009 was one of the saddest day in the history of pop music! I remember I was in the bedroom watching tv , when I saw breaking news flashing through the screen that Michael Jackson just passed on . I couldn't believe what I was hearing , the King of Pop who's about to make a final performance on a sold-out 50 City Concert in London just died !
Throughout the day there were tributes ,news, and testimonials about how good a performer Michael Jackson was . In fact he is even greater than Elvis Prestley and the Beatles for his music have reached different generations as well as races.
Michael Jackson was a controversial star and he has been ridiculed and judged by many , however he never was found guilty for all the accusations that he faced.
Michael Jackson's music is phenomenal and changed pop culture , his moonwalk during his particular performance made him the greatest star that ever lived.
Michael Jackson leaves behind three kids which he loved so much and sheltered from the gazing eyes of the public as well as the paparazzi.
So much have been said and done , but as a student and person I think Michael Jackson left a legacy which I am proud to have witnessed.
Michael Jackson fed the hungry in his song We are the World , Michael Jackson showcased the troubles that needs to be changed in his song Man in the Mirror . Michael Jackson rallied together with other artist in  making our world a safer place to live in, with his Heal the World song . I think a tribute to Michael is fit for a King of Pop who have made every effort to reach us and entertain us .
Micheal Jackson we thank you for living a rich Legacy that only a Legend like you can share .

Teambloggista @ 2

June 21 , 2009 , your teambloggista watched ASAP Live at ABS-CBN . Thanks to PDA SCHOLARS Bugoy Drilon and Hansen Nichols for making it an experience I cannot forget !  8:00 Am was the scholars call time and when your teambloggista arrived in the studio to experience how things are done by the experts. The Star Magic talents were already on the stage rehearsing their dance. I saw Mickey Perz, John Pratts, Rayver Cruz, and Gab Valenciano.  Waiting for their turn , I saw John Avila , Nikki Gil , Kim Chiu , Melissa Ricks , Bea Alonzo , Shaina Magdayao and other ABS- CBN star magic talents .  On the stage was Teacher Georcelle Dapat of G - Force and Direk Johnny Manahan , giving instructions while the artists themselves were being prompt for their numbers. There were too many stars that I couldn't concentrate who to look at . Of course , I was there to witness the first performance of my favorite scholar Hansen Nichols.
In the hallway , I could see the gigger boys having fun and talking with each other . I saw Robbie , Sam , and cutie Aj Perez together with the new batch of star magic talents .
I had a great time chatting with scholars Bugoy , Sen , Zhel , Chivas , and Bunny . They were very friendly and accomodating . I also had a great time talking to PBB Season 2 favorite housemate Mickey Perz and with Chad Peralta who was very friendly also .
I specifically enjoyed the dance number where Sam had to show his jump rope moves over and over again which got a thunder of applause from Direk Johnny M and the people he was sitting with.
After just one run through , the artists were asked to go to their dressing rooms and get ready for a wonderful show ahead !
The studio had to be cleared and we had to go through security check again as well as the health check wherein they take your temperature as a precautionary measure , because of the AH1N1 scare. So , when I went in the studio , I was given a very favorable seat which I very much liked.
When the show started I saw Luis Manzano , Gary V., Toni G . and all the popular people of ABS CBN .  I was particularly impressed with Enchong Dee's performance , I thought he looked hot for a young boy his age .  I also like Rap Salazar's performance together with Charice Pempengco , and Zsa Zsa. I literally had goosebumps when I heard Rap sing , the audience didn't need to be coached to clap they went wild . The boy had a great voice , even Charice was impressed and I give it to her for being so nice to Rap .
I saw my crushes Diether Ocampo , Jake Cuenca , and Piolo Pascual - they all looked good but when it was time for the Star Magic Performance . My eyes were focused on Hansen Nichols who looked dashing and handsome in his bow tie and shirt .  The person beside me even made a comment about how good looking Hansen is in person in fact he looked like a star .
After Hansen's performance together with the Star Magic talents I left the studio and met up with some of my friends .  It was perfect timing because the Star Magic Artists were having their pictorials in another studio.  I had the time to have my picture taken with other kapamilya stars that were not included on ASAP.
I can't wait till my next visit on ASAP maybe I'll share more pictures :-)

A healthy Falcon knows how ! ways to prevent AH1N1 ...

Everyday when we watch the news , we hear about how the virus is spreading all over the country and the world .  AH1N1 which was first reported in Mexico have crossed borders and have spread from North America to Asia .  Yes , the virus knows no borders, so in order to protect oneself I gathered some guidelines that may help us be more aware and conscious of what we need to do to be healthy.  Since its flu season , remember to take vitamin c ,it helps protect you from getting sick . Bring an umbrella , jacket , or even  a raincoat all the time since its rainy season .

GUIDELINES AND SOME MEASURES FOR THE PREVENTION OF AH1N1 FLU:

1. Wash hands regularly (hand hygiene). Use of hand sanitizers is also effective.
2. Cover your mouth with a handkerchief or tissue when you cough or sneeze (cough etiquette).
3. Avoid crowds, hand shakes and social gestures (hugs, beso-beso).
4. Avoid contact with those who are sick.
5. Travel to the AH1N1 + countries only if extremely necessary. After your trip, observe and watch out for flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, body aches, and pains). Consult the Health Service immediately as these manifest.
6. Get the vaccine for the seasonal flu (no vaccine yet for AH1N1). The low-priced seasonal flu vaccine is available upon order from the Health Service.
7. Eat nutritious food, increase fluid intake and have enough rest.
8. Social distancing - if you are sick, keep a distance of at least one meter from others and immediately take a leave of absence due to illness.
9. Improve the airflow of air-conditioned room - open windows of your area for at least one hour.
10. Stay home if you have the flu-like symptoms (for at least 7 days). Consult physician near your place.

Follow these and keep yourself clean.
