CONGRATULATIONS GREEN TEAM!
Celebrating the year end School Spirit General Assembly is something everyone looks forward to. It is no surprise since the MDO Performing Arts Group just keeps on raising the bar! The Show opened with the Performing Arts Group dancing to Rihanna's smash hit " Please don't stop the music".
It was followed by the MdO young singers with their Disney inspired number , the MDO kids can definitely make the crowd scream for more .
After the Disney high , the Seven Loveliest Batch 6 showed the crowd why they are the best in their batch. Then came the exciting part, the new hopefuls for the Seven Loveliest Batch 7 strutted their way into the stage. A lot of girls looked great in their outfits and the we really had a great time watching the Candidates.
The Synergy girls were very entertaining to watch as they danced " Gotta Lotta" , the group really have a lot of signature moves . Of course the singers are just wonderful! Monel started with a song that melted girls hearts , Ma. Liza sounded like an Angel , Rabelle really had nice vocals, Benjoe sounded like a young man onstage :-) ,Thea looked and sounded wonderful with her Stand up for love cut , and Apple moved the audience with her powerful vocals in Hurt . After the singers sang Listen , Apple dedicated a very moving song to the Directress of MdO, Mrs. Dolores H. Reyes. Mrs. Reyes listened to the birthday serenade and watched while Apple sang " What are you doing the rest of your life" . Everyone greeted the Directress with a Happy Birthday after the presentation.
To move on with the awarding, the Synergy boys bounced and danced with their special Synergy dance mix. The boys are just the best and this is why even Elementary kids dream of becoming part of Synergy!
Then the moment of truth came, the School Spirit Moderators were happy to announce their School Spirit Leaders for Green, Gold , and Silver. This year Gold Spirit got the Third place, followed by the Silver Spirit with Second place, and still the Champion is the Green Spirit Team! The Green Team 's lead for this year is over 2,000 points all coming from the Elementary students. The celebration was ended with the whole Performing Arts Group dancing to Soulja boy!
